Important for those of you who aren't that familiar with guitars: In this particular video, when he says "nut" he really means "saddle"; that's the part he's dealing with in this video. The nut is on the opposite end of the guitar at the end of the fretboard!

does the 7th and 3rd fret make a buzzing noise? cuz to me thats what it sounds like you are describing. the action might be too low.
