Arty Art Galley (AAG) proudly presents Five of 1950s Exhibition spotlighting five artists who were born in 1950s. They grow up in different background and therefore their artworks represent different perspectives of art in Myanmar. 10 paintings each of artist which reflects Burmese cultural and landscape will be showcased. These fifty paintings are a unique and elegant representation of the best of Myanmar art and definitely will be of great interest to art lovers and investors.
The five master artists are Di Pa, Khayay Myint Than, Nyo Mhaing, Shwe Myint, and Tynt Naing. Two artists are art gallery founders. They are:
Di Pa, founder of ACD Gallery. He is well-known for his Shining Buddha series, motherland, Myanmar cultures and scenery, skilled at using brush strokes from natural reflexion.
Khayay Myint Than, 7 Art Gallery founder is a realism artist who loves to paint action in Downtown Myanmar and Chin Tribal Dances.
The other 3 artists are:
Nyo Mhaing, a professional illustrator who creates his expressionism art paintings with modern brush works.
Shwe Myint, renowned for creating artworks of beautiful ladies and Myanmar traditional dances. His professional practice is portraiture. His clientele is mainly foreigners who commission him to paint their portraits.
Tynt Naing, an impressionism contemporary artist who draws using the knife stroke technique in his painting of sceneries.
This exhibition will give you a window of opportunity to view the excellence and variety of art works by the five of the third generation master artists of Myanmar at one location, saving you time in travel to Myanmar to check them out.
Five of 1950s' official launching will be on 23rd September, 2009 at 6pm at The Arts House, Gallery. The exhibition will be open to the public from 24th to 27th of September from 11am to 8pm.
Five of 1950s' exhibition will then be held to the Arty Art Gallery (AAG) Studio from 29th September to 15th October, 2009. Prior appointment is required for viewing at the AAG Studio, 55 Verde View, Singapore 688684. Please e-mail rsvp@artyartgallery.com or tel 6729-9203 for viewing appointments.
