  • Remember, they said to Mr. Helm that, after histhroat cancer struggle, that he will never be able to speak again!!! Well, have a good look at this:-) The man can still sing! God works in wonderous ways, doesen't he??? I have great respect for God, but damn it- I have almost as much respect for Mr. Levon Helm:-)

  • Hawt!!!

  • what a combo! Levon and Greg , two of the absolute best!

  • Warren Haynes & Derek Trucks just happen to be in the mix too. Talk about a line-up!

  • c"mon man it does not get any cooler than larry and derek with levon and gregg playing all at once.Between all these cats the stories that could be told and all the musical history and the psychedelics that they ave taken.I still say the greatest musical festival was the allman bros. and the band with the omnipotent grateful dead up at watkins glen speedway hands down. The hell with woodstock and monterey pop.

  • @anthonythirteen I tagged you below lol check this video...

  • @SupahDrew But Levon isnt...and Canada has never really prided themselves in the Band like they do with Neil or Leonard Cohen or Joni or heck even Alanis Morrisette. So my vote for making the Weight our anthem is one hell of a big YES! (@anthonythirteen)

  • long live levon

  • This is 100% the High Church of Rock and Roll right here.

    Fuckin beautiful.

  • @classicshead69: SOB? Shit, that's Taj Mahal. His band's version of Statesboro Blues inspired Duane Alllman to teach himself how to play slide guitar (he was already an accomplished lead man) and the rest, as they say, is history.
