Using the Torque-Meister on '74 VW bug - left rear axle nut

I'm removing the left rear axle nut on my '74 VW bug with the "torque- multiplier" tool...for the first time.
It was quite a momentous occasion when you consider the many other unsuccessful methods I attempted. I love this tool.

EMPI sells this one, call it the Torque Mulitiplier tool. It turns 1 lb. into 9 lbs. of torque.

So, for the recommended 217 foot pounds (or more) for the rear axle nut, that means you give it about 25 foot pounds.

@SuperNorthAmerica You're lucky then, I've broken several 2' breaker bars and countless sockets. This is a nice tool to have in your vw toolbox.

@SuperNorthAmerica All I ever needed was a 2-foot breaker bar and grunt a little. I broke the 1/2" socket end of the breaker bar once, lol!

it´s amazing what shit they invent. That´s not needed I just use a socket, a breaker bar and a long tube for leverage.
