Shooting my new Ruger Mini-14 tactical. The weapon had not been "sighted in" prior to this day at the range. It was new out of the box. And yes, it was a very windy day but I was really trying to crunch some time. Initial shots were fired from approximately 55 yards. First group shot low and off target. Adjustments were made resulting in a tight group left of center. Final adjustments were made. The part 2 of the video shows my results on target. I then fired 40 rounds from approximately 20 to 30 yards. All 40 rounds were fired from the standing position resulting in a pretty tight group. My first few were high. This was my error and I quickly corrected my self. Hope you enjoy the video. The accuracy with this particular model is far greater compared to other previous mini-14's And I highly recomend picking up one of these bad boys! Purchased mine for about $680.00 More videos to come now that I'm back rockin the mini! I appologize for having to upload 2 videos. My software cant splice them worth a shit. lol

  • that's a mini 14 TARGET mode not tactical, tactical has colabseble stock

  • @ivt0 No, this is the tactical model. You can purchase it with or with out the ATI strikeforce stock. If you think this is the target model, you are very mistaken, and your knowledge is poor.

  • have you had any problems with accuracy or the barrel heating up like people claim?

  • @chevygearhead454 Not with this model. The older model mini's have that problem due to the thin barrels they use to put on them. The model shown in this video is the latest series and has a MUCH thicker barrel. I have maintained consistant groups with a hot barrel. I must say I am very impressed with ruger.

  • im moving to the mountains where there sometimes are bears. I have a mossburg930.WOULD A MINI14 BE BETTER?

  • @bigpoppa1951 I would stick with the mossberg. Load it with slugs and you should be alright. I'm afraid if you shot a Grizzly with a .223 it would just piss him off and not much else. lol

  • @ivt0

    you sir, are wrong.

birdcage flash suppressors come on the tactical only

  • @RONPAULPATRIOT44 Zero problems. As long as you stick to factory mags, this weapon will run flawless.

  • @renissant You can order it with or with out.

  • I thought the tactical had a pistol grip . . .

  • @blacklegionairsoft1 i dont know if they leave more residue but everytime you go out shooting you should clean your weapon afterwords because overtime the residue can become corrosive and leave the metal "pitted". especially if you buy older surplus ammo.
