I was at the Blue Angels 60th anniversary airshow 11/11/06 in Pensacola FL. This is the Navy's new F18 Super Hornet Fighter blowing its right rear tire on landing and crashing off the runway behind the Blue Angels F18's.

@Robbob9933 I was wondering about that; there is an actual procedure for that? I thought it was just lucky/talented last-minute decision making on the aviator's part.

@m1ndfr34k117 The announcer is also a Naval AViator so he knows what the procedure is for the situation.

@nimaside Nothing intimidates Naval Aviators, a carrier landing at night in rough seas takes care of that.

The pilot was feeling intimidated because the Blue angel pilots were there, so he threw in this bad ass landing and was thinking "beat that blue angel guys".
