I used to live in Rio, in Copacabana. Back in 1968, when I waited to ascend, from Urca,(the mid mountain),I was hit by a big bolt, which had come loose from the cables. It hit my head so hard, that I was knocked down, and had a monster head ache for a few days, and had to miss my riding lessons and school. Thanks for the video. The only photos I have are Polaroids, which have faded, after over 40 years.

Oh, yes! I had a super headache, had to miss school,(which didn't bother me in the least!), and had to miss my riding lessons,(which I was heartbroken at!), but after a few days, I was back to normal. Thanks for asking, it is kind of you!!

Oh Yes, this happened back in 1968, or 69! I did have to miss my riding lesson, but school was out, so I missed none.

I loved living in Copacabana, and would love to come back, even after all the years that have passed. My amigos Brasilieros, were the best that a girl could ask for. They taught me about city living, and taught me to fala Portugues, muita rapidos!
