  • make another album desa

  • Can we just shut down Military and do this again every year? I did not have a voice for like three days after this show.

  • best night of my life.

  • @mwtillotson Desaparecidos' anonymity adds to their legacy. It's "my favorite band ever"...I really wouldn't have made such a "hoopla" 'bout any other band. The worst you could call me is selfish(or at least "a part of me"), for not wanting to share their music. Though that possessive gesture might be a poor trait, it also serves as quite a compliment for the band. That I won't apologize for. You are sitting on a very high horse, spewing insults, on a meaningless indie crusade.

  • @DieJameSA

Christ, what a load of hoopla about nothing.

I have no issue continuing this -- the "request" of mine was in your favor, seeing how you have nothing at all relevant to add.

Have you already forgotten why I originally commented? All you've done is attempt to save face by contradicting your remarks on not having to "share" the band. So, let's try this once more--perhaps you'll be able to stay on-topic. Why are you happy that you don't have to share the band? Be specific.

  • @mwtillotson ...2/2 To be that presumptuous displays at least, some characteristics of an elitist. Try to concentrate on the music. Not alliteration and insults. Don't start an argument and then make(...'separate ways') a request for it to end...but I guess negative attention still satisfies the needy. It takes nothing to be a Youtube hater. Enjoy Desaparecidos. I love their music.

  • @mwtillotson I've shared their music with all my best friends. With ex-girlfriends and people I don't even know anymore. I don't think I'm better for knowing them. I'm luckier. It is easy to be rude to strangers, but that's why it takes more self-control to be friendly. You are concentrating on the negative. Calling random people names doesn't strengthen your argument nor does it display much character. You are presumptuous in you're depiction of me, which in itself makes your argument weaker...

  • @DieJameSA

It's even easier to be rude to strangers. What a stupid point that was.

Then you should have just said you loved their music. It's obvious I have no problem with that. The issue is that you enjoy their relative anonymity and that you don't have to "share" the band with others. Just admit that such a comment is elitist and retarded so we can be on our separate ways.

I recommend you lay off the booze and drugs, actually. Seems as if it hasn't done your brain a lot of good.

  • @mwtillotson Let's ignore the music for a second 'cause I was probably drunk when I so elaborately exclaimed my love for Desaparecidos. How do you find it in yourself to be rude to someone you've never met? Do you ACTUALLY think that I am interested in even scraping the surface of this whole indie who's who bullshit competition? I JUST LOVE THEIR MUSIC. THEY HAVE MEANT A LOT TO ME. THAT'S THE KIND OF 'SPECIAL' I'M TALKING ABOUT. Start doing drugs and calm down. You're embarrassing.

  • @DieJameSA

There's no such thing as sharing a band -- there's just being pathetic, pompous, and pretentious, just to stay in the theme of 'p'.
