NO PANTS SUBWAY RIDE VANCOUVER 2012 #NPSR organized by Vancouver Improv Anywhere on January 8, 2012. Known locally as the No Pants SKYTRAIN Ride. The No Pants Subway ride happens in many cities all over the world on the same day. Well over 100 people showed up for the 2012 No Pants Skytrain ride in Vancouver this year... so many it was hard to do video, but Butch managed to put this video together for you with his Sony Nex-5 with fish-eye and microphone attachments edited in Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10 with royatly free background music from http://FreeStockMusic.com title 'Gimme-the-bass'

  • what's with the huge cameras? :|

  • @CAEKCHANNEL Hi... it seems all the major news outlets in Vancouver were aware of the No Pants ride so all those big cameras are from the TV networks and there were a lot of newspaper reporters out covering the ride too. I don't know how or why they knew about it but I promoted the ride on my news page on FaceBook and let Flash Mob Vancouver know about it too (they are also on FaceBook). If you want to know what might be happening in Vancouver join FlashMob Vanvouver on Facebook.

  • @CAEKCHANNEL Just for info, I have a website ButchNews(dot)com and ButchNews is also on FaceBook and Twitter. Just Google Butch News to find me.

  • The white ladies expression at 7:06 was PRICELESS!!! LOL

  • @michaelsassjaws Everyone was advised, at the start of the event, that they should take time to purchase their fares at that time out of respect for both regulations and in support of Translink (the transit authority). Vancouver has an honour system. There are no turnstiles or gates on the transit system, however, police do regularly check fares, particularly on weekends. There is a fine for not having a paid fare and you won't be able to renew a drivers license until paid.

  • did every one pay the fare

  • @ThisIsClown Actually most old people were cool with it but that old lady from the video definitely did not like out lack of pants haha

  • Haha I am in the video, it was fun and a lot of people were pretty surprised by our lack of pants even though we were together all the time
