~~ thanks our friend gardner combs for producing & co-directing this video with my ROCKSTAR hubby sam=) we made this video a few years back at our friend betty harper's place in dickson, tn, she was so kind to let us spend an entire day at her incredible farm filming, jane had so much fun meetin' betty's herd=) the performance clips are from back in the day when jane & i hadn't gone on the road together yet & kind folks were letting me sing from the backs of their glorious kiddos=) the footage of me & the grey boy is from the 2006 freestyle reining at quarter horse congress, that gorgeous reining stud is pepto leap, he's somethin' & took such great care of me even though i was just learning about reining and will always be, it's an incredible sport, quite a relationship between horse & human=) & speakin' of, right before pepto & i went in to perform together (& we were almost late;) because i was just getting to meet the incredible team of stacy westfall & roxy as they were warming up to go perform what will forever & always be THE quintessential performance of all time, y'all KNOW the one i mean=) pepto & i finished our performance, i hugged his beauty~full neck then gave him back to his humans & sat down to watch the freestyle performances, there wasn't a dry eye in the house when stacy & roxy entered the ring & i don't think i've ever heard more applause during & after a performance in an arena since=) in case you haven't seen what i'm talkin' about, go to http://youtu.be/acEcvkT7xQA to see their ride & to hear stacy's commentary, another link to the same performance with the song "live like you were dyin'" that they rode to is http://youtu.be/dEaMI5PkLIM , phew, happy, healin' tears everytime=) the gorgeous friesian stud whose incredible back i was singing from is jilte, who is the baby boy of sweet button & kenny in florida, we had too much fun!=) another fun link, http://youtu.be/Q4tQnMdE1gs it was an honor to sing for stacy, roxy & maggie that night, jane & i had just performed together in the same arena minutes before, i feel SO INCREDIBLY blessed to have my ROCKSTARS jane & beau in my world & to get to do what i do & love y'all!!=) love, light & the magic of horses=)
