http://www.nramuseum.org Repeating long guns evolve from percussion to cartridge models. John Popp joins National Firearms Museum Director Jim Supica for the second of two segments on revolving rifles and shotguns. This weeks models utilize the development of self-contained cartridges, starting with the innovative Roper repeating shotgun. After displaying two unidentified prototype repeaters, Supica finishes with an unpopular rifle adaptation of the Smith & Wesson revolver, complete with a lengthened barrel and detachable shoulder stock.
