"How to play like Marco Pirroni (Adam and the ants)" by Frédéric Suard from The Clock Tones. Adam and the ants music (or Antmusic) was accurately described by Marco Pirroni as "an unlikely marriage between Burundi drums, Duane Eddy guitar and John Barry.

  • I just started guitar lessons and I told the instructor that I wanted to learn some Adam Ant songs. So I think I'll use this video as a tutorial as well. Awesome!

  • Nice lesson :) And your guitar is beautiful too!

    Thumbs up!!

  • Interesting stuff!

  • With the Ants Marco used a white Gibson Les Paul Junior with a single P90 pickup. Don't know what amps he used, but Fenders would be a good guess, given the big reverby tone.

  • What guitar and amp combo ? I heard Marco used a Fender telecaster not sure what amp. May be a Fender amp with spring reverb fx. O like to re-create the sound if anyone has any info on this.
