These are my two Convict Cichlids (Archocentrus Nigrofasciatus) laying eggs and taking care of the fry (baby fish). I bought them at a local pet store for $2.99 each and eight days later they layed eggs.

i have 2 convict cichlids and the female had frys. do i need to separate them from them?? thankx for advance.

thefishperson when they breed how big they was ?

Convicts can breed at about any size bigger than 1 inch, but mine were about 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Bigger females lay more eggs. thanks for the comment.
