  • Does how many pieces the pattern have matter? Like is the 5 piece one bette than the 4 piece one?

  • @MissTerymeat Good question! Generally speaking, the more pattern pieces you have, the more customization you're able to do on the fit of the corset (during drafting and also during the mockup). More pieces often mean the fabric drapes more smoothly around curves, and so has the potential for a better fit --> more comfort and smoother lines. I would say that 4 pattern pieces (so 8 panels on the finished corset) are the minimum for a fair-fitting corset, but I've seen up to 8 or 9 pattern pieces.

  • I love the way you explaining everything :) Its makes it so easy to understand! Thank you :)

  • @malalewka Aw, I'm so glad you like my videos! Thank you for watching them, and for your feedback! :) Of course if there's anything you don't fully understand, don't hesitate to comment and I'll answer as best I can. Usually if one person has a question, so do many others who are too shy to ask!

  • @pinkblackwitch I like pattern drafting too! I just wanted to provide several options for the drafting-challenged. ^_~
