  • @eine52 It is Breton, but Breton is not a French dialect, it is actually a Celtic language, closely related to Cornish, which is why it sounds similar to Gaelic and very un-french.

  • @Kentaurosu la france n'essaie pas de detruire la culture bretonne? vas sur ce site "agence bretagne presse" cherches wikileaks dans leur moteur et choisit l'article sur "les americains inquiets..."(dsl je peux pas publier le lien directement) De plus,pourquoi la France est le seul pays européen à n'avoir pas signé la charte europeenne sur les langues minoritaires? La France est le pays d'europe qui donne le moins de droit (aucun en fait) à ces minorités (dont elle ne reconnait pas l'existence)

  • @vivoslibertos No, think further back than Anglo-Saxon and other Germanic influences. :) Breton is Celtic, from the north of France.

  • @anotherlook Breton is a Celtic Language, and French has both Latin and Celtic roots.

    The way we pronounce many words in French containing "u", "on" "an" "in", is a direct heritage of Breton.

  • Je n'aime pas ce terme de langue minoritaire.

    Je préfère celui de langues régionales, qui font partie de l'histoire du pays, qui ont façonné son histoire et qui doivent vivre au futur, comme une richesse, au même titre que le Français. Les Gallois ont compris cela.
