  • An optometrist in Scotland has found a treatment for this. He hopes his treatment will become more wide spread.

  • proposagnosia not recognizing faces. It happens sometimes to me , its embarrasing when I greet the wrong people . I look at main features; like blond her, glasses...I greet them as if they where familiar; hilarious when thinking about it. Many people do have it, recognize others by voice or moves. some people looke upon you as if you where insane but it has nothing to do about it. Coding as a description or image. the mind has both.

  • Interesting that my wife is much better at facial recognition, but I am much better at recognizing places. Also I usually orient myself using an inner compass, whereas she orients herself using recognized landmarks. When people are out of their usual context, I have a hard time recognizing them.
