Martian First Soil Sample Ready for Robotic Laboratory Analysis. Microscope's Silicone Substrate.

A microscope on NASA's Mars Phoenix Lander has taken images of dust and sand particles with the greatest resolution ever returned from another planet.

The particles are on a silcone substrate target 3 millimeters (0.12 inch) in diameter, which provides a sticky surface for holding the particles while the microscope images them. Blow-ups of four of the larger particles are shown in the center. These particles range in size from about 30 microns to 150 microns (from about one one-thousandth of an inch to six one-thousandths of an inch)

  • That ain't sand, that's ICE !

  • This doesn't look like a soil sample to me but more like a scoop full of building debris!

Maybe there is some form of 'life' existing on the surface of the Northern Plains.

The problem is that even if there is an existence living there I don't think NASA would be interested because all they are trying to find is water or water-ice, not a living species.

  • First video show the humans that Phoenix landed upon on their lading. The murders will pay. I have recieved word direct from our creator. Do not fear, their sould were protected. Our creator is a benevolent God.
