Well, sort of. I got a Federal Signals SelecTone 300 series signal module (it's supposed to have a bullhorn attached to it but was removed before I got it) from cjgoot and with some help from him, I was able to hook it up to my system! The module relies on TM33 sound cards installed in it to produce the sound and/or message. As you can tell, currently installed in the module is a slow whoop tone module (it's the only one I have currently). Unfortunately I can't make any live voice announcements on it, hence it's not a TRUE EVAC system, but it's pretty close to it and is still very neat! Enjoy the vid!

  • @Gb755c All Simplex 4001s do that. Only other Simplex panels beep or buzz when in alarm but the Simplex 4001 for some reason was not designed to buzz when in alarm but it does still buzz when it goes into trouble. I guess that's just Simplex for you.

  • i love wheelock

  • How did you get your panel to not make the constant tone when the panel went into Alarm?

  • Everyone still loves a good whooping tone! :D

  • That is a neat evac module.

  • Nice job!
