I put together this clip as a result of some comments from people opposing this position not understanding they refute themselves when they Universalize (All Men) the Atonement but yet they won't hold to Universal (All Men) Salvation. That can only result in people Christ atoned for who are in Hell. That position is inconsistent and not biblical although it does sound nice in theory.

  • I submit that Universalism is a less offensive theological error than Arminianism. While I do not believe it is scriptural, at least Universalism affirms that Christ's atoning sacrifice accomplished salvation. The Arminian insists that untold millions for whom Christ died are burning in hell at this very moment. Paul said, "He that spared not his own son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?" (Rom 8:32) Arminianism is heresy. Period.

  • @Keruaran You are in error.

  • @TheKJVberean

All who reject Universalism limit the atonement in some manner. The question is how it is limited.

  • @motibi

Romans 11:32 is a great verse. Would you the "ALL" refers to the elect only or to everyone?

  • @88momart

What would you say if Jesus equated "faith" with "work?"

  • @88momart

What would you say if "faith" was actually a "work?"

  • If Jesus died for every single person, then His blood is not sufficient to completely save, as we know some will go to Hell. But no!! His sacrifice is complete! Our salvation does not become complete when we choose Him (works)... ALL honor goes to Him! We have NO reason to boast, as He obtained it for us, completely. We limit Him, when we think His atonement was not enough, that we have a part in it, (believing). Even our faith is a gift.

  • "Limited atonement" provides perfect assurance of salvation, since it is ALL by Christ's effort, and NONE of ours! This is where our confidence lies...ALL in Him. He OBTAINED, once and forever, the salvation of those whom the Father had given Him. His "work" is perfect and sufficient..."None that the Father gave me, have I lost".

  • To ARMINIANS -Romans 11:32 "for God has shut up all to unbelief, that he might have mercy on all".

To CALVINISTS -1 Timothy 4:10"for for this we both labour and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is Saviour of ALL MEN ESPECIALLY y of those believing."

DOUBTERS I Cor. 15:23-28"But every man in his own order:..For He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet..last enemy...destroyed is DEATH... Son also Himself be subject unto Him..that God may be ALL IN ALL"

  • @TheKJVberean Do you even realize that you are making a mockery of Christ by quoting those Scriptures to try and prove a universal atonement? "That the world through him might be saved." Do you believe that every individual person in the world is going to be saved? If not, then you have just admitted that either a), "world" does not mean every individual, b) if it means every individual, Christ fails in His salvific work.
