@truepowerlord I'm not sure if you have figured it out by now or not or if you are still even interested but if you uninstall just the sims 3 game by itself but don't remove and mods or saved games and then reinstall it the game works.
I tried this download last night and just like you when I went to play it this morning it wouldn't load, so the only thing I could come up with is to uninstall the sims 3 on its own but keep mods and saved games and it worked, I'm actually playing it now.

@ReicheruAnn I tried it last night and it didn't work for me, it actually stopped my game from working so lucky for me I had all my games and mods back up and I just has to reinstall my sims 3 in order to get my game back up and running.

@OrangeAndPinkk you both musn't have compleetly removed it, once its uninstalled delete the file from EA in program files, then reinstall it
