Sometimes we need to question..what gives cops authority? why dont we just beat the crap outta them before they do it to us
-
@darreninny You got it. Just follow their orders and if you have your panties in a wad, sue later. But failing to follow their direction will ALWAYS end in your ass hurting.

Another thing you ignorant fucktard, tasers don't release a constant electrical shock. She was not getting tased non-stop after being shot with the barbs, as evident by the fact she wasn't locked out. I hope one day you're hit by a drunk driver, of course then you'll call for the police and an ambulance, and you'll want the cops to do something then. You're just a hipocrite. By the way, I support working moms one dollar at a time.

The guy narrating this is a dumb asshole. Let me inform your non-American ass. Here in America, traffic stops are the most dangerous thing a police officer can do. This is the time when the mojority of police deaths occur. When you get pulled over, do what the fuck you're told, and when it gets to court, then you argue. The fact that she's a single mom, does not preclude her from listening. She's a shitty parent apparently.

@staniz4 very true, other countries will execute you right on the spot for resisting.

ImTheSolace1 Not important what YOU would call him, is it? His Sheriff, the NYSP review board and each commissioner who examined this case exonerated this deputy. No charges were filed against him because he followed his dept's policy and trng. He is authorized to Taze subjs who resist arrest, period. Maybe I wouldn't have done it, (sounds like you sure wouldn't) but it was HIS CALL, not ours. I've heard the audio on this and he was professional and tolerant. And yeah ~ almost 25 yrs worth here.

actually yes i do. and if an officer that i work with would do that to a defensive mother i'd would call him a pussy.
Do YOU know ANYTHING abt police work and what goes on in there?
you'd be surprised.

@ImTheSolace1 Why? Do you know ANYTHING abt police work or the law? His training and dept procedures endorse using Tasers on subjects who resist arrest. Tasers are the PREFERRED means of gaining control over resisters. He doesn't have to feel 'threatened' by her to justify using it. Tasers produce the LEAST RISK of injury, over all the police tools he carries. She is instantly controlled and cuffed and 30sec later she's fine. Investigation CLEARED him and supported his actions. Deputy was right.
Well, when a cop tells you you're under arrest, don't get back in the car and try to leave! Duh, she was resisting arrest. If you don't want your kids to see this, then don't disobey the police officers orders!

its a pretty simple concept actually:
police officer tells you to stay in the car, stay in.
if you dont comply and the officer feels threatened they have authorized uses of force for different situations..
when he tells you you're under arrest and you get back in the car.. thats resisting arrest.. the taser is much nicer than the baton...trust me.
Dont be stupid people.
