  • I'm sorry guys Dorset is crap.. It's always wet windy and grey clouds that's why I moved to Queensland

  • @allard61 Nobody cares. Life is about what you make it. I, personally, would not enjoy living in Queensland, despite its beauty, because it just isn't the place for me.

So what if it rains here? That's what makes it so green, and full of life. There's nothing better than coming home from a day in the countryside when it starts to rain, and making a nice cup of tea. To me, that is heaven.

So take your opinion and keep it to yourself, I'm glad you're happy in QLD. I'm happy in Dorset.

  • @DefeatedElitist - Well said Sir! The rain is what makes the county such a beautiful place! Classic English countryside.

  • @allard61 And when a bit of rain done anyone any harm? if you've got a decent water proof jacket and a pair of walking boots, who cares? Makes it more fun. You may be surprised to know that Dorset gets a lot less rain than a lot of other counties, although the weather does vary depending on whereabouts in the county you live. Never been to Queensland so couldn't comment on what it's like, but I'm sure I wouldn't be out there long before I'd miss the rolling green hills of Dorset.

  • the village on the slope at 1:46?

  • @Boncedoris- Gold Hill in Shaftsbury. Do you remember the Hovis advert with the boy in victorian clothes pushing the bike up the hill & Brian Glover narrating? That was filmed at Gold Hill!

  • beautiful video. Thank you

    i love dorset too.

i live here though i am very concerned about the amount of aerial spraying from the aircraft. it is ruining the rivers, spoils and people's health. i have posted a video response from Dorset. They are not contrails. Big difference.

  • we re going to dorset this summer and i cant wait, england is fab ; )

  • @Giusi666 It truly is a wonderful place, as is Sicily; another place I'd dearly love to visit. Come any time you'd like, you'll be welcomed with open arms.

  • @DefeatedElitist

Hi, I have been in Dorset just three years ago and it's a place that i loved, and love, very much. I come from Sicily where the sun shines almost every day, but it does not make me happy. I'd like to live in Dorsetshire or in Cornish because I feel that this place belongs to me. Maybe, on day ....

    Bye Bye

    Giusi

  • Did you take all these pictures yourself? They are stunning!...proud to be from here- at uni in scotland, and everyone (mainly people from northern england) always takes the mick out of my accent- but idc, I know Dorset is 10x better than newcastle or glasgow! =D..and I miss it down there a lot- didn't think I would! haha
