A software modification that allows the robot to be controlled via a joystick. This is the combination of the python script that controls servos with a joystick, this time it interfaces with the robot control program. All normal functions work also - manual commands and autonomous roving. Clicking the 'gun' button brings you back to the control program prompt for other methods of control.

  • What is the name of the logitech keyboard that is closer to the right monitor in the video?

  • @Kyro1111 On the bottom it says Model Name: Y-RAK73, P/N: 820-000314. I dont remember what the retail name was, it was purchased about 5-6 years ago.

  • The WiShield uses 5 or 6 digital pins, so yes you can use the others for what ever you'd like. I'm not an HTML person so I don't know how much I can assist you with your goal. I deal mostly with TCP socket connections and transfer data that way. I have used the WiServer functionality of the WiShield library but that was for device output only as in the webpage it served was generated by the device. You want an input function. Either way send me a private message and I'll give you my email

  • Thanks for the comment! I just got my first motor controller installed on a tank tread bot, much easier to work with, lol. I found the wheels at a craft store, hole already drilled and everything. I glue a rubber band around each wheel for gripping.

  • @navic209 Wow that was a fast response. It looks a lot like the S510. Cool Robot BTW

  • Can you answer one more question? Can't I use some arduino ports while the shield is working? Or could I use?

  • I'm thinking in doing a robot controlled via internet, when I'm not at home. I want to make this easy to control, but don't know how to make he runs continuously, without the page loading again after I pressed the left button, for example.

    Could you help me? Thanks!

Is there a way to control he away from the hosted webpage, but from another network?
