Best Friends Volunteer Trip 2010

This video highlights the experience 80 volunteers from Paul Mitchell Schools, Paul Mitchell Advanced Education and John Paul Pet had when they joined together for five days to make a positive impact for the animals at Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, UT.

Paul Mitchell Schools across the country are actually involved at a local level with various shelter and rescue groups by volunteering, raising funds, adoption assistance and even in-kind donations.

This is so GREAT! While it is wonderful that such an organization as Paul Mitchell is involved in caring for animals.... What about Rescues and Shelters right here in California that are so desperate for help, that aren't so visually appetizing... because of funding or lack of help.... perhaps Paul Mitchell can consider searching out these Rescues and helping one a day for a week... :)

My daughter attends Paul Mitchell the School... we volunteer at a Rescue in Yucaipa that desperately needs a new roof over the laundry/blanket storage area. Its a Non Profit 501c and the owner works 20 hours a day and had diabetes, she's got 100 dogs or more! She's already fallen and hurt herself and if something happens to her, like the roof falling in, who will care for the dogs. She lives onsite, and cannot do everything herself. Its overwhelming when we go, SHE NEEDS HELP! CAN PM?
