I was at one of my school dances. Only this dance was formal. I was wearing a blue sleeveless dress that went down to my ankles with rhinestones up to my knees. I had a blue, short sleeve polka-dot jacket that had one button to fasten in the front. I had two different shades of eye shadow; I had a thin layer of dark blue eye liner, then a small layer of blue eye shadow, then on top, I had sparkly, light blue eye shadow on. When You Look Me in the Eyes was playing in the background, then John Green asked me to dance. Now, John Green was the cutest boy in the eighth grade at Murdock Jr. /Sr. Private High School. He played football, basketball, and he ran track. John was tall and slim, and he had hair like my brother Joe, only it was blonde and he was about as tall as Nick.
John and Cove slow dancing.
John: You look really nice tonight, Cove.
C: Thanks. You look great to.
John: You know, youre a pretty good dancer.
C: Thanks. Youre not so bad yourself.
*John spins me*
C: Where did you learn to dance like this?
John: Uh
*Then I realized the whole eighth grade had a whole section on partner dancing*
C and John: P.E.?. (with different tones in our voices)
John: Yeah.
*John brings me close, than spun me out and caught me*
John: You have the most beautiful eyes.
Cove (blushing): Thanks.
*John leans in real close to me*
Nick comes into my room.
N: Hey Cove, time to wake up.
C: Huh- AWWW Nick!!!!!
N: What?!
C: Whyda Have To Go And Wake Me Up?!!!!!!
N: What? Whatd I do?
C: I was in the middle of the best dream EVER!! UHGH!!!
N: Well if I let you sleep any longer, you wouldve been late for school.
C: Oh jeez! Im going to be late! See you down stairs in a minute (I said as I raced out of my room)
Down in the kitchen.
J: Morning.
K: Morning Joe. (He said mouth full of waffle)
Mrs. J: Howdya sleep? What do you want for breakfast?
J: I slept fine. Can I have a waffle please?
Mrs. J: Yeah Im just finishing Nicks. Will you tell him its ready?
J: Kay.
*Joe runs up stairs to see Nick pressing his ear to the bathroom door while I was taking a shower*
J: What are you doing?!!
N: SSSHHHHH!!! Listen!!
J: Why?
N: Just Listen! (He whispered as he took Joes head and placed it near the door)
J: What?
N: Do you what shes singing?
J: Yeah. WYLMITE. So?
N: SO
*Nick heard the water shut off and quickly got up and rushed down stairs, with Joe following behind.*
C (yelling from the top of the stairs): MOM!!!!! CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE ME A WAFFLE?!!
Mrs. J (yelling back up from the kitchen): Im on it!!!!
N: Hey Kevin?
K: What?
N: I herd Cove singing in the shower.
K (puts the newspaper down): OK.. (oddly looking at his younger brother)
N: I wasnt - I just- I saw-
K: Are you gonna be finishing any of these sentences?
N: I was coming down, and I her singing WYLMITE.
C: I knew it!
N: You knew what?
C: I knew I herd someone at the door!
Mrs. J: Joe and Cove, here are your waffles.
C and J: Thanks.
N: Sorry. I- Well-Uh
C: Are you gonna be finishing any of these sentences?
N: Why were you singing WYLMITE?
C: Because I herd it in my dream and its stuck in my head now.
Mrs. J: Nick, Cove, youre going to be late!
N: Oh yeah. Bye Mom. Cmon Cove!
C: Im coming! Bye Mom. Thanks for breakfast!
Mrs. J: Bye! Youre Welcome!
