Considering that this was recorded at a time in the early 80's when Belfast was a very troubled City, and Concerts from any international Artists there was very rare (thankfully a thing of the past now) it kinda proves that there were many 1000's of people who did live normal lives there. Fair play to RA for taking the time to visit at that difficult time.

I remember seeing a video of this bit on TV once, a different performance, though. I think it's the Rowan Atkinson Live show. There are a handful of videos from that performance posted, but this one is nowhere to be found! Great post, though!
Great stuff - just brilliant to hear that again. Do you have the minister's speech and the best man's speech as well? What about that song "That's why I hate the French".

Hi, they are all on the same recording and I might try to upload them at some point, but I don't want to over-step the copyright issue by uploading the entire record and annoying the great Rowan Atkinson. :)

Hi. As omn1presnce mentioned, there is no video recording of this as far as I know. If anyone can find one, I'd love to see it also.

That was so good! Where did you get it from?

Hi. It is from an old LP/cassette called 'Live in Belfast'. Recorded during Rowan Atkinson's stage tour in the early eighties.
