Milwaukee Stage Invasion - The Hold Steady @ Turner Hall

This video was shot during "Killer Parties" by The Hold Steady at Turner Hall in Milwaukee WI.

From time to time the band invites a friend to make a cameo and play on "Killer Parties"

On this night, the 11th day of April 2008, I was asked to join them and placed my hand held cam on Craig's amp and pointed it toward the crowd. I captured a dude in a tuxedo shirt making a stage invasion and the subsequent yank off by their tour manager. My butt moves out of the way at the right time.

It's in reg speed, slo mo, and I used
a clip from youtube user (hanke414630) for a split screen at the end. (hanke414630) has a full version of the jam from a balcony POV.

My cam has no sound capabilities so I hope you enjoy the relaxing dentist office music.

this was one of the greatest nights of my life, and i can say with 100% honesty that you (i'm talking to do72490) fell on my head, but i was so very wasted i only remember it in bits and pieces. very sweet video.

you know the song "chillout tent", that song applies to my night here at turner hall.

Nice work. I am that avid a fan as well.. I was minutes away from going to this show when my cell phone rang and I found out my mom was dead.

Obviously, I gave my tickets to the nearest stranger and went home. Downer story, huh? True though.
