Getting the feel of the gun prior to .357 mag rounds.
Always shot a smaller round prior to going large to associate yourself with the larger rounds. Also, cocking the hammer instead of using the double action trigger will allow you more precise on target shots.
Aren't revolvers great, no trigger pull if you don't want it by cocking.
