ABOUT CHITRALEKHA :- Film was essentially the story of a royal dancer, Chitralekha (Meena Kumari), and the effect of her mid life crisis on the significant men in her life. She has been irresistibly beautiful and lived a life of sin but as she finds a grey hair and encounters some complications in her love life, she is motivated to question the life she has lived she decide to quit her palace and luxurious life style ,in search of knowledge she dicide to live with a dharma guru (ashok kumar).But as every one knows the fact about women is ultimate creation of GOD Unfortunately dharam guru falls in love with chitralekha forget everything ,conscience and try to have physical relationship with chitralekha without her will.., And that night is became last night of his life , in the morning when his consciousness return he feel guilt and finishes himself and his identity ...mk
