@BuchuBuchuMan Fuck yes. What politician now would actually have a discussion with a reporter? Every single one of them just reads lines from a script. How are we to vote for politicians if we never know what they're really thinking.
I think Trudeau made himself look like an ass in the last video, but at least he was saying SOMETHING.

Martial law's usually used for nefarious ends, they may claim it is to prevent terrorist, but meanwhile they can crush ANYONE and brand ANYONE a terrorist. Sadly, most people advocate it without understanding the critical side effects of any martial law..

Whatever else you think about them, doesn't watching Diefenbaker and Trudeaux make you miss the days when Canadian politicians didn't act and talk like fucking androids?

Diefenbaker said ''Chartrand was not found before 4 o'clock this morning.....strange thing...''
Michel Chartrand was among the first to be arrested, on the morning of the war measure's act enactment, when he was in bed with his wife........and he makes he sound like they searched for him everywhere ???? THEY DID'NT, he was arrested, held for 5 months and even tried for Sedition.......charges that were finally deemed ludicrous by the judge and dismissed. only 5 months in jail for no reason !!!

lol, you tell em. I don't get these conspiracy theorist types...
And Bourassa reminds me of Dion in a way. Lanky guy with glasses and thick accent.

Bourassa knew how far they wanted to go, that summer the FLQ members training with the PLO in Jordan announced that the FLQ would shortly begin a campaign of selective assassination. The reporter should have asked if they were capable of achieving their aims, not just what their aims were
