The now, rarely played Jew's harp of Arunachal Pradesh in the Himalayas is featured in this video.

It is played and made by Jushi Drema from the Monpa community.

  • Thanks for this feature and nice to see a friend (Sangge Chodrup) hehe. Jiskang or mouth harp is also made in Eastern Bhutan as well as Western Bhutan where it is called Kongtha. It is played by girls and women esp. when herding cattle but it is now fast becoming in disuse and only few people know how to make it.
