While millions celebrate the wedding of Wills and Kate, four dejected people (and one horse) think it should have been them walking down the aisle. I Could Have Married Kate tells the story of their pain and how they completely misread the signs.

So cleverly written and executed. I saw this highly witty and talented quartet in Apocalypse No! . Will be going to see their Caberet Sauvignon at least once during its run at the Trafalgar Studies London this year (Tues 18 Sept to Oct 6.)

I think you've maybe missed the point? The group are called Barbershopera.. if you watch any of their live shows you'll find there's plenty of REAL barbershop, but their shows are comedy, to make people laugh! Go and see one of their shows.. packed theatres don't seem much like failure to me. (My Mum, who also sings 'real' Barbershp, would agree!!) ;-)

This is REALLY not barbershop.
1) What the hell are you doing vibrato for?! Vibrato prevents the chords from locking and ringing.
2) I do not see you moving around the cycle of 5ths. This is a key feature of barbershop.
3) There is very little homophony.
4) Why do you have rap?
5) Why do you have percussion? Vocal percussion or not, it's not barbershop.
Unless you were not actually trying to do barbershop, you failed.
