they say it to avoid legalities, so if some stupid little kid sees this commercial and goes out and try it and gets hurt, their mom can blame shit like this. however, these commercials, and shows like mythbusters, SPECIFICALLY tell you to not try it, so they aren't held responsible for anything that these programs may influence.
