The Girl Next Door (A Jonas Brothers School Series) Episode 38

**After class**

Sarah walked to her locker, her head full of mixed emotions. She couldnt decide whether to be sad that Jen obviously didnt need her as a friend, or furious that she'd dumped her. She was putting books in her locker when a strong set of arms were thrown around her waist and a kiss was planted on her cheek.

Nick: Good afternoon baby, how are you?
Sarah: Not now Nick
Nick: Hey whats wrong? You were ok earlier
Sarah: Ya that was earlier, this is now, and im not ok (starting to walk away)
Nick: (pulling her back) Then stay here and tell me whats up
Sarah: I dont wanna talk about it
Nick: Please, dont make me go through this day wondering whats wrong with you
Sarah: Well you're gonna have to, because Im not breathing a word about it
Nick: You are so stubborn
Sarah: Yes Nick I know I am
Nick: Then please just tell me
Sarah: Maybe later, like after school, I dont want anyone listening in
Nick: If it has anything to do with the whole Joe and Jen thing, I know. I know ALL about it
Sarah: Well its partly that, but something else happened
Nick: Can you share that part with me?
Sarah: (taking a deep breath) Fine (pulling him over to a bench on the other side of the hall)
Nick: (sitting down) Now dont leave anything out, tell me everything
Sarah: Ok. Jen told me what happened yesterday between her and Joe, I got upset with her because I was disappointed in them so I ran out of the bathroom and left her there and I knew she was upset but I didnt wanna talk to her at the moment. But then I felt guilty for just freezing her out like that, so I went back to apologize and just talk it through with her, and I found her and Brittany being all best friend like and.......Nick I think she replaced me. She's so mad at me that she replaced me with that.....thing!!
Nick: (giving her a hug) No, surely not. Jen hates Brittany, plus you're her BEST friend. She'd never just dump you for Brittany
Sarah: You didnt see what I saw Nick
Nick: Maybe not, but that just doesnt sound like Jen to me
Sarah: Are you calling me a liar?
Nick: No, Im just stating my opinion. But, I'll be on your side with this
Sarah: (leaning her head up agaisnt his shoulder) Thank you, atleast someone is
Nick: Hey im boyfriend, I've gotta be here for ya 24/7
Sarah: (smiling and giving him a small kiss on his cheek) You're so sweet
Nick: I've been told that
Sarah: (laughing)
Nick: Dont worry, Im sure this whole thing will blow over once you and Jen both calm down
Sarah: Ya, I probably just overreacted. As usual
Nick: Ya
Sarah: Hey! (playfully slapping him) You're not supposed to agree to that
Nick: Ok ok, I wont agree anymore
Sarah: (patting his curls) Good
Nick: So what am I like a dog?
Sarah: (laughing) Why not?
Nick: (taking her hand off his hair) Well I'd rather not be an animal
Sarah: Fine, you win
Nick: Thanks (taking her hand) C'mon, lets go to lunch, im starving
Sarah: Me too. You think Jen would sit with me?
Nick: I dont see why not
Sarah: (walking off with Nick, holding his hand) I hope so
