Its clear Manfredo's father is a bad influence on him. Manfredo was unlucky that Freddie REoach has to abandon him in the build up, he certainly would have given the bout more credibility and told Peter to calm himself down. Peter couldent win this fight but he had the potential to make it entertaining. He tried to box Calz and gotdestroyed by speed, he made the concious choice not to brawl and it did not pay off. He had a style similar to Omar Sheika. If Manfredo beatBikahe shows he is no joke

Funny when he says it was forced on him when he was younger. I heard his father basically held him captive in the gym his whole childhood. Maybe thats why he looks so out of sync and not to smart in social spots like this interview and in scenes from the contender. All he talks about is his old school Italian ways (yeah I know) and being raised in Federal Hill when he actually grew up in Silver lake. Don't be scared to keep it real Hit Man.

Poor Manfredo, he was just there to promote Calzaghe for USA. I dont think manfredo really thought he could win this one, its a clear mismatch.

of course he has intelligent handlers, its all for promoters to make money, to build him up and make mega fights like this, and super mega fights like hopkins v calzaghe if he retains, which he wont :P ... ok nuff talking, fights in 3 days, manfredo will KO in round 7, done deal :D
