  • I really enjoyed this video. Life has been a bit hectic for me, working from home for a 40-50 hr per week job, and also taking on some pro bono community work. I'd like to manage tasks better so that I can make sure that instead of juggling 8 things in a day, I'm completing tangible items each day. Thanks for the explanation. Btw, to you have recommendations for mind mapping software / websites?

  • @garrettwilkin I've been using XMind on my Mac and I think Freemind is another great free mindmapping tool. All of the online stuff eventually costs something, but there are great options out there. I prefer a desktop app though.

  • This video helped me a lot to manage better may everyday tasks. Many thanks.

  • @quaten my pleasure glad it helped!

  • When do you delete a task from your mind map? When you copy it into the backlog, when you move it to done, or when you complete all tasks related to a higher level project? Why? Thanks!

  • Thanks for sharing a great idea. I'

  • I can't help but notice that 2 of the tasks in the "This Week"-column say "FAP" ;)

  • For me, what is working is to break tasks down so that each half hour I can have victory. Also using the comments column to write out a small progtam of how I am going to complete the task. Most important, is that I can now take control of my day by taking control of my tasks. The power of choosing the tasks and completing them in the now onbe task at a time. ing positive energy and focus The freedom of feeling useful and finishing my tasks because I chose what to do and loving doing them.

  • Thanks, a lot Robert. Started using this today. Makes sense and is simple. I think it is best for me to cut out the mind map but simply list the tasks for my roles (Accountant, Marketing, Sales, Father, Student). This way I can run my life on tasks

and get away from overwhelm and confusion. List the tasks, choose to do say 35 on Sunday night and then choose to do 5 a day over 7 days. Choosing the night before will help the subconscious mind to think about my choices over night

  • What is the difference between Kanbanery and Microsoft Outlook tasks?
