sorta. In the vids they're whoever the person wants them to be, but in the show they are who they are in whatever universe they are currently in. For example the future is one alternate universe but the past isn't because you can still change things now which would make the future change.
Like if claire decided to go bad and dye her hair dark brown then things may turn out like the future in season 3.
How i know all this...i have no clue. lol
