@AbiltyToThink You clearly do not know how our legislative system works. It passed in the house of representatives. NOW it is in the SENATE where they will review it and consider passing it. After that the president has a chance to pass or veto it. So what you said is complete BS.

@bfpccbm What about John McCain supporting it? Is he a prick and criminal as well? You know that we've had a cap and trade system for sulfur dioxide since 1990 right? People like you thought "OMG this is terrible." But guess what? That has actually worked as the government said it would, not only at reducing SO2 levels, but it actually generated revenue for businesses. So how about you look up how it works and how it will hopefully work before you make assumptions.
