Herve Claudon introducing the man who at age 14 led the Texas Infantry (dad) safely across the Moselle River from a secret crossing area unknown to the Germans. His mother was the head of the Resistance in the area. The crossing was important to the success of the attack against the Nazis and the liberation of the area.

  • BE grateful 141st. I lost 2 of my Uncles saving your infantry division back in France and many more before that. How'd they get lost in the first place? Seems like bad strategic planning to me.

  • I know he will probably never read this, but I want to thank that gentleman for what he did. My great Uncle died (believed to have died) crossing the Moselle. He was with the 141st Infantry Regiment, 36th Infantry Division.
