@Crazelord91 Not a problem. In that case the SSD would be a good idea, but get 6GB RAM in there along with an OC i7 and you're singing. Glad I could help.

@BinHadyn1000 haha, not a bad logic. well ive recently gotten into video editing and the more expansive and complicated the software, the more ram i wish I had lol. i have 4 gb ram with i5 and Sony Vegas pro sometimes has trouble running which gets in my way. it seems things ive seen thats its not so simple putting an ssd drive into a laptop. thnx for the info, much appreciated

@Crazelord91 16GB is overkill, though RAM is cheap nowadays so I thought I'd future proof it just in case. It's useful to me because I'm a PC gamer so I can really push my PC's potential. The SSD is a big differentiator. It allows applications to open at incredible speeds and massively reduce boot and shut down times. Processor is also vital, though an i5 chip is easily powerful enough. Depending on if your gaming, you may or may not require a hefty graphics card. Hope I helped. Anything else?

@BinHadyn1000 not bad at all. is all that power useful u? bc im considering upgrading my laptop and though i'll prob not go as far as 16Gb of ram (not even sure if my laptop could handle that) i was wondering how much of a difference it makes

@Crazelord91 About £950, built it myself for that price.
-
@BinHadyn1000 nice, how much that cost you?

@Ritwik1999cv Oh please. 64GB RAM? You're either an idiot or you are full of shit, neither really is a compliment. 2TB SSD? So you come from the future? Interesting. HD? What in fucks name are you even trying to get across by saying HD?
You Apple fangirls amuse me.

I'm using a quadcore with 6 GB's of DDR3 RAM, lol who the hell has problems opening more than one folder at a time? Here, let me open 100+ folders and watch my Windows computer use under 5% of it's power.
