My dear friend Jim Marshall- playing his beautiful music on 4th Avenue in front of Plush Lounge, which has become his signature spot. The wonderful alto sax, is a loan from me. Formerly owned by my late ex boyfriend, Marcus Barrett. I bought the sax from his father several years after his death, as a gift for my son. Who was then only 3, and who took very little interest in it. So it was sitting around not being played and I felt that it deserved better. Jim had a soprano sax which was becoming difficult for him to use, due to some arm or shoulder pain. So i loaned him the alto, about 3 or 4 years ago, and he's been using it ever since.
