I'm a single father whose greatest blessing and joy is the love and friendship shared with my two sons, ages 11 and 15. I interface with talented and interesting individuals in an industry that defines fashion. My work, though I rarely refer to it as such, requires creativity and logistical balance that can be extremely challenging but equally rewarding to my competitive nature. I'm rejuvenated by nature and have the unique opportunity of participating in expeditions and conservation efforts around the world.

Foremost I see my relationship with the "human family" and the commonalities that unite us. I've observed that within any "ism," there are some who need to believe they are right, while others are wrong. I do not envision being right or wrong as our purpose - far more important is learning to sacrifice our own will to that of a loving and merciful Creator, and by so doing, finding the strength and ability to love others as ourselves. A germane belief in Mormonism, which resonates with me, is that of a Godhead consisting of three distinct personages being one in purpose, whose counsel is conveyed through a living prophet and twelve apostles. While unable to comprehend the majesty of His nature, I view God as a very real and eternal Father whose greatest gift to me personally, aside from my existence, is being able to make my own eternal choices guided by the perfect example and self-sacrifice of his son - the Savior Jesus Christ. Modern day revelation brings clarity to the importance of my life and helps me to understand my personal relationship with God. A restored connection between an empathetic Savior who preached his gospel and established His church in the meridian of time, with a current day organization supported by the same resurrected Deity at its center is all important. This magnificent condescension, whereby the Redeemer took upon himself the frailties of a mortal body to obtain a perfect empathy for our physical challenges, provides a supernal compass to help guide my choices. From a youth I was taught that I could approach God directly, the same as did a young boy by the name of Joseph Smith in 1820. I believe that the young man did in fact converse with God and his Son, and that his prayer like those of prophets before him was answered. The result nearly two-hundred years later, is a living and functioning restoration of the original. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is not a church for Mormons - rather, an organization restored to help serve every man, woman and child who hope for direct and heavenly intercession of priesthood blessings, guidance from divine laws, and clear communication through ongoing revelation. Especially reassuring to me, is that a spiritual witness of these truths can be obtained if one sincerely prays and carefully studies the Book of Mormon, the Old and New Testaments, and revelations given in our own day.

  • Mormon people are beautiful…Mormonism is not Biblical.

The “new gospel” of Mormonism teaches that God was once a man, that Jesus is our brother and that eternal life is achieved through our works.

The Bible say, “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!”

  • @ckuhrasch we believe that as well you are preaching to the choir and if you actually knew our teachings you'd know that we do teach of nothing but Christ.

  • @paulinator61 you clearly do not know our beliefs and yet another reason for these spots. We actually believe native Americans are a blessed people, there is no claim they are from the middle east, only that two single families travelled to the Americas nearly 3000 years ago hardly a drop in the bucket to change the DNA of all people who already were living here. Don't be so quick to judge, if you actually were to meet him you'd find he actually did care, he is actually a good guy.

  • Rob is awesome!

  • @paulinator61 If you were genuinely interested in the true beliefs of the Mormons your head would not be so full of the typical lies that are spread by anti-Mormon activists. You are such a tool of Satan.

  • @anprapture I believe it only fair to state that it goes both ways if you are not willing to listen fairly and respectfully to others beliefs and your only intention is to mock and degrade them you are hardly the model of truth or integrity.

  • @anprapture actually native Americans have a very diverse history from several different continents originally, you have to figure in that people have been traversing, and trading, with other continents for centuries. In the Book of Mormon it mentions there were many people already here when the people in the book originally arrived. Their impact would have been marginal in respect to DNA even at the time but add upon that two thousand years of time that has passed.

  • @paulinator61 why don't you talk about everything some total complete stranger wants you to when you share your own video with the world point being that we are each able to share and speak as we choose. I would also suggest you educate yourself about our actual beliefs before making such comments considering that we never taught native Americans 'were and evil tribe from the middle east'. You clearly have never read the Book of Mormon. You clearly are interested or you wouldn't be commenting.

  • @JoyUVLord If it's truly not about denomination but about Jesus then you clearly haven't done your research considering the actual name of the church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and YES it is the same Jesus, there was only one after all.

  • @paulinator61 hey hes not telling you hey i want you to be interested in my kids hes tryin to say hey im just like you i just have my own beliefs, wow how ignorant ppl can be very particularly you! a religion is a belief a faith and its a personal reflection on who you want to become and where you wanna go, let it be if this is what he wants, do you treat your nieghbor as if they dont exist?? no.. or i assume no.. your jsut ignorant to watch this and to come to the conclution you came out with

  • @Bryleefy How is this video discriminating other religions in any way? The purpose of this I'm a Mormon Campaign is to dispel rumors and show that mormons are simply every day people. In NO way does this put down any other religion :)

  • cool story bro

  • @Bryleefy great comment for those who like to complain that a belief in Christ is mentioned since this video tosses in at the end that he is a follower of Christ (Mormon) and even though 99% of this shares personal experiences, I agree that it is the teachings of Christ that help make us who we are. I love people of all faiths as well and in fact that is what our faith teaches to love all unconditionally as Christ taught. Life should be about loving others and sending good energy to the universe
