Irish Freedom Committee - Save The Hill of Tara

Street action by members of the Irish Freedom Committee at the Irish Consulate in Chicago, to raise awareness and stop bulldozing at the ancient Hill of Tara in Ireland. Pickets held Saturday September 22, 2007 on Chicago's Michigan Avenue.

The Irish Committee condemns the Irish Free State government's refusal to halt construction of the M3 motorway -- directly in the path of numerous historic burial grounds, barrows and monuments in Seat of Kings at the 7,000-year-old Hill of Tara. The Irish government has already razed the historic bronze age burial grounds at Baronstown, in a pre-dawn bulldozing raid on July 4, 2007.

Look/I perfectly respect that the IRISH LIVE in IRELAND and its thier nation/that said as an IRISH AMERICAN which is its own unique culture I say this/I dont have to get permission from ANYBODY (irish or otherwise) to to claim my culture and ANYONE(irish or otherwise) who says i'm not "real" irish can go get fucked

A "high majority of Irish-Americans" have NO CLUE about their Irish heritage!! All they know is Notre Dame (fighting Irish) which is an American collage football team & getting drunk on St. Patricks Day!!
