Rumor website Fly on the Wall reported that Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) COO Tim Cook could be leaving to become the CEO at Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ). The rumor caused shares of Apple to briefly hit $275, about $16 points below yesterday's closing price. There have been no official comments from Apple regarding this rumor.
Tim Cook has been considered as a possible successor to Steve Jobs as CEO of Apple.
