The drive is on to make tomorrow's transport fuels and lubricants on a large scale from clean-burning natural gas. Construction of the world's largest gas to liquids (GTL) plant, Pearl GTL in Qatar, is a major step towards meeting the worlds growing demand for cleaner energy.
To learn more about the project, view the video of Pearl GTL Managing Director, Andy Brown, explaining how the plant will turn natural gas into cleaner burning liquid fuels and other products.

@Mahnwey I don't think Shell want to cut woods just for their feed in their process. It is better to Natural gas rather than wasting the gas.

Good thing, I've seen Mr. Andy Brown in person. One of the nicest big people I've personally met at Pearl GTL Project, Ras Laffan, Qatar

Very, very impressive.
I'd sure like to be a part of it and put in some of that piping.
Shell has no equal in the industry when it comes to innovation and success.
