Gaming In Linux : Portal 2

Please Thumbs up!!!
Portal 2 running in Ubuntu Linux through wine 1.3.21, as you can see the game runs really good! I made this more then 5 minutes due to someone saying it crashes within that amount of time. The graphics were on medium/high settings but the recorder gave the game some bits of lag sometimes. If you get a very jumpy mouse that jerks making the game unplayable run it in windowed mode. The game since it was installed through steam installed with ease. Must get game for anyone!

How come the portal gun doesn't light up blue or orange?

@rhasti early on in the game so dont have both the colours

I've played Portal 2 from start to finish on ArchLinux. Not a single crash , very smooth, very good experience overall for a great game !

are you running it fullscreen? how do you apply the patch?

@Jakejw93 No I mean the portal gun lights up when you shoot a blue or orange but it stayed black as if you shot no portals!

@Jakejw93 AA & AF works for me fine, to turn it on you must change some keys in registry

@Jakejw93 Thanks for saving me the time of downloading and installing Portal 2 via wine! Wine just simply isn't an option for newer 3D games. :( Actually most games with AA. I just wish you could tell Portal 2 to run under OpenGL mode like on Mac.
