Recorded in 1996 and edited from three locations, this is the continuation of the Hunchback of Notre Dame stage show at what was formerly known as the Disney-MGM Studios. Here, Esmeralda finds sanctuary in Notre Dame cathedral where she prays for the safety of her fellow gypsy outcasts.

Judge Frollo in the Disney film (voice of Tony Jay) was so much better than this guy...his portrayal is so boring and flat...no real evil bite in his acting! But I do like the guy playing Quasi and the girl playing Esmeralda and the guy playing Phoebus...but Frollo is pivotal and shoulda been played by a more "evil" sounding actor

I dunno if I'm nitpicking or not, but as much as I adore this stage version (the whole thing, not just this segment), I really think they rushed it. I understand and there's a time limit or something, but because it's so fast-paced (more so than the movie was) I don't really feel all the emotions from the people :/ Except for Clopin. Just because he's that damn awesome >:3

But yeah. That's my take on this. Love it, but too rushed in my opinion. Take it or leave it.

Who is this Esmeralda? I doubt she's still at the studios, -- if she's at wdw at all she's probably at Animal Kingdom, but I doubt -- and if she isn't has she done anything else since W.D.W..

I suppose this'll be the closest thing we'll ever get to an English adaption of the German show :( It's a shame, the German show is epic!
