Dr. Brennan, Professor of Law and Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health is the nation's leading expert on medical malpractice and patient safety. Dr. Brennan authored the Harvard Medical Practice Study. This study yielded the estimates of yearly deaths from medical errors cited in the 1999 Institute of Medicine Report.
