Scan your PC with antivir program, try other web browsers instead IE (Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome). Maybe it's a hardware problem?

maybe it's your devices connected to it. i know it sounds stupid but maybe that's it...

As a matter of fact yes, monitor was bad. I repaired the monitor several days ago... :)

wow, i was gonna suggest something like your phone connected to it or maybe an ipod. but that explains the ripped screen.
