Avishay is talking about his musical roots. saying that he never plans his albums in advanced, and his last album is very melodic and simple because he feels the simple melodies are natural companion to the hebrew words. he will always be a Jazz musician. he will be the musical manager of the next israeli jazz festival. the old melodies comes from his father's home and he feels that it should stay natural, not very complicated, just warp with Jazz. well, i have translated it the best i could :)
